Majored in Music in college and you would like to further your studies? You majored in something else, but you finally realized music is your greatest passion? If yes, please keep reading because my college major was totally unrelated to music, but I was accepted to graduates and now I am working on my doctorate in music.
Here are three straight forward steps to standardized test taking that are guaranteed to get you to your best possible score in as little as a month. In order to follow this guide, you will need access to at least three official practice tests and answers (or automatic online scoring for some tests). I would recommend an official practice guide with explanations and additional study material because they also usually come with practice tests and answers.
I began my studies in my MASc program at UofT in September. At UofT, it is common for graduate students to find their own housing downtown Toronto (although there are some programs can help international students with on campus housing), so I found an apartment in Kensington Market, which is a 15 minute walk from the Chemical Engineering department where I would be spending most of my time. UofT is in the middle of downtown Toronto, surrounded by many different neighborhoods. Students tend to live in the Annex, Harbord Village, or Kensington, and other areas such as Little Italy, Yorkville, Chinatown, the Entertainment district and Toronto’s famous Eaton’s Center, are no more than a 20 minute walk from campus.
The University of Toronto (UofT) is Canada’s top university for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and was my first-choice school to obtain my Masters of Applied Science (MASc) in Chemical Engineering degree. I was drawn to UofT because of its academic excellence, as well as its location in the vibrant, diverse, city of Toronto.
Applying to college can be an overwhelming, nerve-wracking, and exciting experience all bundled into one. Achieving valedictorian in my senior year of high school prompted me to seek out strategic admissions consulting for college in order to decide which university best suited my academic goals and career aspirations. The best college admissions consultants take into account a student’s personality, academic goals, financial mobility, hobbies, and topic interests in order to advise a student on which higher education institutions would best fit their unique situation. And that’s exactly what I needed: A consultant who understood who I am and what my goals are in order to align me best with a university experience that would propel me into success.
